Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 17/09/2024

Welcome to Apexx Engines. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Apexx Engines offers a range of engine reconditioning and related services. This includes, but is not limited to, engine rebuilds, diagnostics, and repairs. We may also offer additional services in the future as our capabilities expand.

2. Payment Terms

  • Full Payment: Payment for all services must be made in full unless otherwise specified.
  • Deposits: For quotes over £1,500, a 25% deposit is required before work begins. For quotes under £1,500, a 50% deposit or the full cost of parts is required. The deposit amount covers the cost of parts and any preliminary work.
  • Refunds and Cancellations: If you choose not to proceed after paying a deposit, we are only liable to refund up to the amount of costs incurred up to the point of cancellation. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the work already performed and parts ordered.

3. Service Turnaround

We provide an estimated time of completion for each job. However, this timeframe is not guaranteed and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances such as delays in receiving parts or third-party issues. We will keep you informed of any significant changes to the estimated completion date.

4. Warranties and Guarantees

We offer a warranty structure that varies depending on the specific service and parts used. Details of the warranty applicable to your service will be provided separately. For any warranty-related queries, please contact us directly or visit our warranty page.

5. Liability Disclaimer

Apexx Engines is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages due to unforeseen engine failures, delays caused by third parties, or inaccuracies in information provided by the customer. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.

6. Customer Obligations

  • Authorization: You must own the vehicle or have the authority to allow us to perform work on it. We may request proof of ownership or power of attorney.
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information about your vehicle and any issues it may have. Failure to do so may affect the service provided.

7. Service Limitations

We do not provide services for certain types of vehicles or components that fall outside our scope of expertise. Examples of exclusions may include highly specialized or rare engine types, or vehicles that require proprietary parts not available to us. We will inform you if your vehicle or service request falls into this category.

8. Third-Party Services

In some cases, we may outsource certain services to trusted third-party partners. When this occurs, we will share any relevant information with these partners to ensure the completion of the service. We remain responsible for the quality of work performed and will address any issues directly with you.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage resolution through mediation. Should mediation fail, legal action may be taken. All disputes will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
