Who we are
Apexx Engines is a specialist engine reconditioning and repair business focused on helping customers make the right decision when an engine fails, loses compression, suffers timing failure, overheats, develops oil pressure issues or needs major internal repair.
We support a wide range of vehicles including Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi and many other makes and models. Our role is to make the process clearer from the start: understand the fault, explain the likely repair route, price the work properly and keep the customer informed.
We are not here to sell quick fixes. We are here to help customers understand what has failed, what can be repaired, what should be replaced and when a full rebuild is the more sensible option.
What we do
We support customers with major engine work, component repairs, machining services and specialist advice before any job is agreed.
Engine rebuilding
Full and partial engine rebuild routes for vehicles with serious internal damage, timing failure, overheating, bottom-end noise or compression loss.
Engine reconditioning
Inspection-led reconditioning for engines and components that can be restored, machined or rebuilt to a professional standard.
Cylinder head work
Cylinder head inspection, pressure testing, skimming, valve work, refurbishment and replacement guidance where required.
Timing chain and belt issues
Support for timing-related failures, poor running, non-start faults, chain stretch, belt failure and suspected internal damage.
Machining support
Machining services including cylinder head skimming, crankshaft work, block inspection and related specialist engineering support.
Trade enquiries
Reliable support for garages and workshops that need specialist engine repair, machining, rebuild or component refurbishment assistance.
How we work
Engine repair can be expensive, so our process is designed to keep things structured, transparent and easy to understand.
Initial enquiry
We gather the vehicle details, symptoms, fault history and any previous diagnostic information.
Assessment
We review the likely cause and explain whether inspection, repair, rebuild or replacement is the correct route.
Quote and approval
Before work begins, we explain the expected costs, scope of work and any third-party terms that may apply.
Repair and support
Once approved, the work is carried out or coordinated, with clear updates throughout the repair process.
Why customers choose Apexx Engines
Our customers choose us because we combine technical understanding with a more organised customer experience. Engine failure is stressful enough without unclear pricing, vague advice or rushed decisions.
We aim to give every customer a realistic view of the repair before they commit to major work.
What matters to us
Nationwide engine repair support
Although Apexx Engines is based in the South East, we support customers across the UK. Where suitable, components or vehicles can be collected, delivered or coordinated through trusted transport and supplier networks.
This allows customers outside our immediate area to access specialist engine reconditioning and repair support without having to manage the whole process themselves.
Our role and supplier work
Some specialist work may be carried out, supported or supplied by trusted third parties where appropriate. Where supplier terms, third-party warranty terms or extended warranty products apply, these will be communicated before the customer accepts the job or makes payment.
